You need to catch many good breaks in starting any kind of company, and one of the best ones that we've caught at Tuckerman is finding our shirt factory in nearby Fall River, Massachusetts. Having grown up in New England we were certainly familiar with the history of textile production in the region. From the early mills on the Merrimack to those of the Blackstone Valley, you can still see the remnants of that history today in many places.
The question was: could we find a great factory that still made high quality shirts? The answer was yes, and we found it in Fall River, at a shirt factory that has been in operation for more than 75 years.
